I bought one from a local rock shop, and to be honest. I low key want to break it open to add to a ring or necklace if I ever get engaged or married

I bought some peacock ore from a crystal shop, I broke it open and it turned out to be fake coloured quartz. Disappointed.

Peacock Copper is one of my favorite rocks ever, but I’ve never heard it called Peacock Ore before. I remember being a little girl, in the ’80s, and my real Dad would come home from Colorado and he’d bring me some, along with Fool’s Gold, that he found. I was in love with Peacock Copper. It was like the Opals of the rocks. (Opals are my favorite gems, BTW…) My top three are Opals, Peacock Copper, and Bismuth crystals (rainbow theme much? LOL!!). Thank you for making this video!!! <3 <3 <3

I was just given one 2 days ago. He said he found it while mining in NC. It has a few small spots of color but appears to be mostly quartz and pyrite. It’s very shiny. So pretty.
