I’ve bought fluorites from Jordan before, and his minerals are truly spectacular. However, the best thing about Jordan aren’t his minerals, but rather his uplifting attitude and wholesome approach to life. Consider yourself lucky if you get to know him.
That green on the pseudomorph Malachite is absolutely lux. It looks like velvet covering a rock. And the azurite little needles, I couldn’t imagine having something like that I could look at each day. Just beautiful, the man has taste.

I started collecting when I was just 12 years old. ( I’m now 60!) I had a visit to the ‘Florence mine’ ( now closed) in Cumbria, UK where they mined large quantities of red boytroidal Hematite. While there I visited the samples shed. OMG it was like going into an Alladins cave of massive red boytriodal hematite (the size of wheel barrows!), perfectly formed large clusters of crystalline Dolomite and Quartz and beautiful black Specularite. As a young kid it was mind blowing, I’d never seen anything like it before. Luckily for me I was given some specimens to take away, which I still have to this day, including a beautiful piece of boytroidal hematite, with a dusting of black crystalline Specularite on its surface, just like black icing sugar. This experience set me on a path to a life long journey of mineral collecting from all over the world. It also set me on a path to train as a Geologist, although sadly my working career went in another direction.
