Gemini gets the most shit because we can generally see through people from empirical experience and can judge/write off quickly, but we’re fair about it, and it’s been intellectualized, it isn’t petty, but we’ll play petty if you are, we mirror and give back energy instantly and it throws most others off. When yr around a Gemini, we have the ability to see all of you as you are, so it intimidates others often, and if you cross us or are acting conceited we’ll throw out yr hidden insecurities leaving you thinking we just read yr mind. So people can be scared of us, but really it’s just a reflection on yourself that is bothering you.

I’m a Capricorn and my boyfriend is a Gemini..
My biggest gripe with him is that he lacks self awareness. Or more so, lacks the discipline to change what he may be aware of. He just doesn’t care. We’re polar opposites in that way. My whole life I’ve been very serious and introspective. I never had many friends growing up and I spent most of my time alone, and I’ve always been very hard on myself. His whole life has been about having fun. He admits he’s never gone inward or put effort into growing, he just never felt it was necessary.
I was friends with a Gemini girl for years and she was extremely focused on self growth, but in a way that was very self-focused and narcissistic. To me, it was more for mental stimulation and that crazy Gemini monkey mind, than it was for true growth.
I do love Gemini’s and people who I’ve seen make the biggest 180 transformations in their lives have been Gemini’s.. but being in a close friendship/relationship with them as a Capricorn hasn’t worked out in the long run.
I end up getting annoyed with their arrogant, know-it-all, self-focused personalities & how much they talk about themselves.

Libra rising here with no earth placements (only neptune in cap). I started dating a gemini rising who also has no significant earth placements and I’ve never felt more understood by another person. Our banter is 100% and we will keep a joke GOING. He makes me laugh like no one else can and that is what I appreciate most about him. I think Geminis are very, very different from each other despite their one similarity which is hard to pin down. You get guys who are mentally stuck in elementary school and watch Spongebob all day and others who are complete skitzos writing entire papers formulizing Babylonian magic for modern mathematicians. Transitioning between seasons has a noticeable impact on Geminis, both internally and externally. Speaking for myself, I feel a transformation in every aspect of my being during these transitions.
With my dad being a Gemini, boyfriend being a Gemini, having a Gemini best friend for years (not anymore), that trickster energy is definitely them just being self centered and immature. If my boyfriend is supposed to meet up with people at a certain time and not being there on time will make him look bad – he’ll be there on time. But if I need him to be somewhere on time with me, but he’s not ready, he’ll still take his time and then leave me to have to explain why we’re late. My Gemini friend outright admitted to me that she would hang out with me just cause I’d smoke her out when we first became friends. And she would throw me under the bus ALL THE TIME for a joke or because maybe I was expressing an unpopular opinion and they ALWAYS have to play devils advocate. I’ve also just found Gemini’s do not care about the people around them or how their actions affect them, they have main character energy and just do whatever they want.
