FOOT AND ROOT CHAKRAS, GROUNDING

For the healing of the feet we will be sending prana to the feet, Foot Chakras and the Root Chakra. We also want to open up and unblock the Root and Foot Chakras.

The Foot Chakras are located on each foot at the center of the arch.

The Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine.

The Foot Chakras are closely connected to the Root (Muladhara) Chakra. The Foot Chakras can even be thought of as the lower part of the Root Chakra. The Foot Chakras are what ground you. Part of the Foot Chakras extend into the ground and provides your connection to Mother Earth.

A strong healthy Root Chakra will strengthen the Foot Chakras and help to ground you. It will also make you feel energetic, and industrious and improve your ability to manifest the fulfillment of your basic needs.

It is important to get out into nature regularly. One of the best ways to ground yourself and open up your Foot Chakras is to walk barefoot in nature.

Walk on natural ground with your bare feet for as long as you can, feel the ground against your feet. Standing is important. Spend time standing and looking down at your feet. This will focus your attention on your feet and direct energy to them.

If you have difficulty walking try to sit with your feet on the natural ground. You could also try walking in water such as a stream, lake or ocean. The water will help hold your weight and reduce the load your feet have to support.

Beaches are good (especially if it is away from the crowd) as they have ground and water and air and sun and moon.

When you are unable to walk in natural ground like when you are at your office, you can visualize yourself walking in nature. This is good in a pinch, however it is still necessary to get out into nature.

FOOT HEALING MEDITATION

Use a quite place. Sit in a comfortable position.

Close your eyes.

Relax.

It is best to breathe in and out through your nose. If you cannot then breathe through your mouth.

Breathe in positive energy. Breathe out the tension.

Relax.

Breathe in deeply and exhale, Breathe in relaxation and breathe out stress. Keep breathing and relaxing.

Do this for a while until you are fully relaxed.

After you are relaxed, set your intentions on being healthy and pain free.

Listen to the beats.

The healing life energy is known as Prana and is also called Chi, Qi, Ki, and various other names by various cultures throughout the world and through time.

Now breathe healing energy into your solar plexus.

Breathe the energy out to the Root Chakra and down your legs to the Foot Chakras and feet. From there it flows down into Mother Earth.

As you breathe in imagine healing energy flowing into you and into your solar plexus.

Will the healing energy to flow into you.

As you breathe out direct the energy from your solar plexus to your Root Chakra, through your legs and down to your feet. It engulfs and fills your feet and Foot Chakras and then flows down into Mother Earth, grounding you and strengthening your connection to Mother Earth.

Do that for a few or several minutes.

Now we will focus on the feet.

Again, breathe healing energy into your solar plexus.

Breathe the energy out to your feet. Let your feet be filled with healing energy.

Do that for a few or several minutes.

You can alternate between these two methods as you see fit and for as long as you feel is best.
