It’s kinda hit and miss in my experience, some rough crystals can feel quite energetic, while others can feel like a dud. Same thing with the supposedly higher quality crystals, just because it’s super shiny and expensive doesn’t mean it’s gonna be totally awesome. I also go through cycles where on some days I am more sensitive to the crystals energy while other days not so much, or I would feel almost nothing in the day time but can totally feel the buzzing in the evening, I have no idea why. This totally messes with my purchasing decisions coz I can never be sure if it was me or the crystal that is not working lol. It can get quite frustrating.

Thank you Christa! In my experiences, some rough and natural stones and crystals are also higher quality. My collection is a mixture of polished, cut, and uncut gemstones.
Thank you for this video. I’ve been wondering the same thing and am relieved to hear your answer. Sometimes I go into a shop looking for a specific stone I’ve read about, but I generally leave with at least one or two others because they are “calling my name.” It’s nice to know it makes no difference what form I choose- rough and “ raw” or shaped, cut or polished, they all have equal quality for healing. Some are in their natural, pure form and others have been manipulated for aesthetic and marketing puposes. Nothing wrong with that, we can enjoy them all. Are those pyramidal points ever natural though? My great aunt was a rock “hound” who lived in a cabin in the northern California Sierra Nevada mountains. She always had rocks spread out on a circular wood planter around a tree. I loved looking at them and she would show me what she had most recently found. Some of them had points. One other ? I have is whether natural crystals are more powerful than grown ones.
I love all my crystals and stones- regardless of them being raw/cut/polished and also regardless of any monetary association. Having collected and befriending them for decades, as a lover of geology and energetic healing aspects, there weren’t as many options to choose from when I was young- so I’ve been happy with whatever I was drawn to! I love crusty mineral rich crystals attached to the matrix. I love bits and chips and dust of crystals, and use them in art and jewelry. I love shapes like hearts and skulls and use them for specific intentions and purposes. And I also love crusty raw rocky stones that I’ve bought at shops or found while hiking and/or dug out of the Earth. The modern association of applying value by relying on commerce alone is odd to me. Some of the most intense crystal allies I have aren’t glamorous or flashy whatsoever… but their mojo is off the charts. That’s some high quality!! (And sometimes it’s free or under $5!!)
P.S. edit. Christa Lynn- thanks for posting this video. It’s refreshing to hear folks talking about some real issues- simply put and respectfully; and not trying to hock some more overpriced stones in their personal shops!! The collection of informative videos on your channel is fab!!
