How absurd! There’s metal in wheat too, for that matter most of what we put in our mouth has heavy metals.

Wow. What a poor logic – excluding bread from the diet isn’t the cause of those difference between both groups. Enviormental contamination is.
We shouldn’t eat more bread just because of it. We should stop pollut or planet and the food we are putting on the table.

Arsenic in rice. Stay away from carbs!

  6. doctuhmazing on July 25, 2021 at 3:43 am

Sounds like junk science because he infers too much from this limited data.

For this to mean something, we would need to know what the non-gluten eaters actually ate rather than simply knowing what they did not eat.

He points to rice and fish, almost suggesting that if you aren’t eating bread you must be eating fish and rice.

Many non-gluten people eat more low carb, excluding starchy foods in favor of vegetables and healthy fats.

  7. Paige Swindoll on July 25, 2021 at 3:44 am

I don’t eat much fish or rice at all. Are you going to pay for my doctor bills? The reason is because I have thyroid problems and felt awful. I had headaches, brain fog, and fatigue, and now I don’t. So anyway you can pay for my tests if you want to know what’s up.

The best heavy metal detox is not with plant derived detoxes because much of the toxic heavy metals are reabsorbed back into the body before it can take them out! Zeolite Pure a safe 100 percent natural mineral detox is much better at removing heavy metals from the body because it pulls them all of the way out of the body with no heavy metals being absorbed back into the body! For more information see the website at http://www.zeolite.com

  9. Swedish Bulldog on July 25, 2021 at 3:46 am

Good information but I couldn’t listen to anymore when he reached his conclusion. He says that people on a gluten free diet probably get the heavy metals from eating fish and rice. His conclusion is not that you should avoid fish and rice but that you should not go on a gluten free diet unless someone like him, a doctor, says you should.

I’m realizing this could be a big game of chicken before the egg. But I just want to put out there, being gluten-free alone is not enough to be on a truly healthy diet. It is not enough to actually chelate your body from heavy metals.

  14. Dr LaBrie on July 25, 2021 at 3:52 am

No logic at all. He is inferring that people who dont consume wheat, rye or barley will eat more fish and rice. He gives no data to support his inference.

  19. 00joy00 on July 25, 2021 at 3:57 am

While I appreciate knowing the results of the study regarding heavy metal levels in people of GF/Non-GF diets, his conclusion has no basis. He doesn’t know what the heavy metal levels were before they started their GF diet. I personally would suspect they were high to begin with.

  20. xursx on July 25, 2021 at 4:01 am

i mean, i get that fish has mercury and i know that some things like chocolate have lead or cadmium, but that doesn’t mean that GF people eat those things more just because they avoid wheat

  21. Onebeautifulheart on July 25, 2021 at 4:04 am

This is a lot of bullshit! Everybody knows mercury feeds candida which can cause gut dysbiosis and destroy the intestinal lining. Heavy metal toxicity is WHY they are gluten intolerant which is WHY they eat a gluten free diet. You’d think they’d ask why they chose to not eat gluten. Not all fish is high in methyl-mercury only tuna or deep water fish. I’m addition the more common cause of mercury toxicity is amalgam fillings which are made of 50% mercury.

  22. Shelby on July 25, 2021 at 4:05 am

    Just say no to gluten!!!
    ….it’s a killer

  23. Ssj Seeps on July 25, 2021 at 4:05 am

My research on heavy metal toxicity studies shows with certainty that heavy metals alter the microbiome and cause carbohydrate metabolism disfunction. The heavy metals are causing these people to react to gluten.

  24. Donna Sides on July 25, 2021 at 4:06 am

There is truth. I went gluten free, consumed more rice and became toxic on arsenic. I stopped the rice and my levels went down. I also have discoloration on my mucous on my esophagus, also a direct cause of arsenic. I take no medications ever. Heavy metals can build and accumulate. I now soak my rice, have installed water filtration. Back on gluten. Everything in moderation.

  25. ilfautdanser on July 25, 2021 at 4:07 am

he’s really just arguing for grain-free and fish-free diet. oops

  26. Plant Based Professor on July 25, 2021 at 4:07 am

This could be true because the removal of gluten increase nutritional absorption and that means heavy metals. We must also know what they are eating and compare the to others eating similarly, but with gluten. Do they have surgical grade silicone in their body like that which is found in breast implants? These are know to have increased heavy metals in people with them. Who paid for this study too?

  27. David Montiel on July 25, 2021 at 4:08 am

trying quinoa a better option. True heavy metals are bad for your body. They produce brain fog and different chronic skin conditions or chronic GI(stomach/intestine) problems. Not saying this is the only reason, but it should raise alarm. Rice today is genetically modified. Much of our food is GMO and processed. Doesn’t mean you can’t find a good source where you can buy food. If you really look at it, we ourselves have become metalized with all around us. Phone, cars, streets, lights(LED), food, 5G, any other type of radiation device. Our body is amazing and will detox what it doesn’t need. If it becomes too much, things begin to occur in our body and wonder why they have occured. Eczema, dysihdrosis, psoriasis, etc. There are some cases where its hard to tell, but the most important things, diet, sleep, water, and rest. Good luck to you all. Lord Jesus cover us all! You can also pray for your food as another way for God to bless it. 😉

Perhaps the mercury is causing the gluten sensitivity?

  29. Andy Kramer on July 25, 2021 at 4:12 am

This is reminding me of stand up comedy or Saturday night live. I wouldn’t be surprised if they took him off the street and paid him 50 bucks to where a bow tie and read the teleprompter!!

  30. Lyn Patrick on July 25, 2021 at 4:12 am

he doesn’t understand toxicokinetics of arsenic when he discusses "risk for bioaccumulation" arsenic has a half-life of hours to days, doesn’t bioaccumulate… I agree junk science

  31. Jax Bennington on July 25, 2021 at 4:14 am

I went somewhat gluten free due to Autoimmune disease but find I get weird pains in my intestines when I eat gluten free.I never put it down to that,I was told I had IBS but discovered when I ate just normal grain or wholemeal bread I felt much better

  32. Charles Kos on July 25, 2021 at 4:15 am

Sir the heavy metals are the REASON They are on a gluten free diet! You’ve got it backwards, you havn’t made a suggestion as to why they are on the diet which is generally for health reasons!

  33. 8 Limb Life on July 25, 2021 at 4:18 am

Straight-A-Stupid. Are you living under a rock? Heavy metals cause food sensitivities and intolerances because they interact with the mitochondria AND disrupt the immune system modulators; among other insidious cellular disturbances. This is especially seen in those with impaired elimination pathways that are further disrupted by heavy metals. Wake up to this current reality.

  34. Vanities on July 25, 2021 at 4:18 am

Gluten makes me cough, they are. GMO

  35. Rob Lovegreen on July 25, 2021 at 4:20 am

The primary source of mercury exposure to humans for the last 100 years has been properly installed dental amalgam fillings. They are composed of 50 percent mercury and release the mercury in the form of vapor which is breathed in. This slow chronic mercury exposure accumulates in the body over time leading to health issues. If one decides to have their amalgams removed, it is wise to go to a dentist trained in proper safe removal techniques as to avoid high levels of mercury exposure when drilled out. Find a dentist trained in the IAOMT safe removal protocol.

  38. Jessie Marie on July 25, 2021 at 4:23 am

  39. Carmie Life & Nutritional Coach and massage therapy on July 25, 2021 at 4:24 am

As I can read the comments nobody agrees with you. If you don’t have gluten sensitivities and have not gotten yourself off gluten please do not pretend you’ve done of study because there’s many many studies the contradict exactly what you’re saying! You’re basically saying to change the food industry and eat all of the shit they’re giving us, GMO pesticides in everything else that is in gluten.

  40. Rachel pinto on July 25, 2021 at 4:25 am

Glutten free diet is adhered to by those who follw a diet that releives the negative affects of glutten to their body. They eliminate glutten to improve their health and overall well being. Ppl who are glutten free are not eating poumds of rice daily. There are many other replacements for bread such as potatoes and grains. This video makes glutten free diet look unhealthy choice when in truth the problem here is that we have a food industry that allows foods such as rice with metals to be sold to the public at a health risk. The solution is not to allow foods with toxins to be sold to the public.

  41. Sho Man on July 25, 2021 at 4:27 am

03:10 Didn’t really answer the question about where they come from, I doubt mercury naturally forms in fish. I admit I’m far from a scientist but would be interesting to know how they actually end up in the "food stuff".
I may be a bit of a conspiracy nut but this smells like a lobbyism attempt to create more customers by scaring people without ceiliac disease into eating gluten again. Then again I may be completely wrong because I do not understand the science completely but assumptions seems to be the theme here.

  43. M W on July 25, 2021 at 4:31 am

That’s baloney. So people in Asia for who rice and fish is foundation of their diet should have the highest heavy metal toxicity and this is not the case.
